Why Dr. Joe Created InnerMission
In these moments when the emotions of stress and survival can run high and fool us into lack and separation, this is a
time—more than ever—when we as a community, must unify in wholeness and oneness. As a community, we are on a
mission, and nothing is going to stop us from this movement.
The name of this series of teachings is called InnerMission, which represents the journey inward because we are in a
retreat from our known, familiar lives. You are not doing the same things, seeing the same people or going to the same
places. You are out of routine and experiencing an "intermission" between the acts in the play of your life.
Our work is a tool for the present circumstances. We will adapt to whatever circumstances necessary in order to keep
this work alive and to keep people beyond the illusion of separation. If you stay passionate about what you will learn
during InnerMission, the practice will have instrumental effects when you apply it to any situation in your life.
